This week is a collage holiday called spring break. Since I attend Kirkwood in the afternoons I don't have class all this week and since it is spring break my cousins came up for the week from Kansas. Saturday night when they got here we ate dinner then went cosmic bowling.
Golf season also starts this week, but since its so wet and not all the snow is melted yet the golf course isn't open yet so we have to condition by walking. When we are not walking we are over in Monticello at Eastern Iowa Sports Facility hitting into nets. My feelings about golf this year are bitter-sweet. The pro is its my favorite sport and I want to do my best for a man that taught me what I know. The con is I don't want it to end, and end it will much faster than I want it to, there is nothing I can do to stop it or to even slow it down. It will be over before I know it.

Graduation
I am looking forward to being able to choose my classes according to what I want to do with the rest of my life. I am also looking forward to not having to play pomp and circumstance over and over for what seems like two hours straight for band, it gets rather annoying after playing it once or maybe twice. Mostly I am looking forward to just having a voice and a choice in how I want to live my life.

The Invention of Hugo Cabret
My book is about a young boy who is trying to fix an automaton that his father found in the attic of a museum in Paris. The boys name is Hugo. He lives in the walls of the train station and keeps the clocks in the station running. To fix the automaton Hugo steals toys from an old mans toy booth. I chose this book because it looked interesting. It is 525 pages long but it is half pictures. To understand the book you have to look at the pictures as well as read the text.
